Hello! I’m Tess Rose (she/they), LCSW. I’m happy you’re here! I want to know what being human means to you, and want to help you find a sense of wholeness and power in your mind, your body, and your spirit. I want to know what your inner and outer worlds look like, and be curious about how they impact you. My door is open to all identities and experiences – I hope to empower you to be your truest self, and to promote ownership of this in spite of systems and norms that discourage this. I aim to hold space for you to safely explore all parts of yourself, and to facilitate growth towards a life that feels worth living. Therapy at its core is a relational experience. In my work, I prioritize safety, curiosity, humor, and authenticity. Beyond that, I balance nondirective and directive approaches to support the unfolding of your journey, and to guide you to a place of healing. There are endless paths we can take in life, and I want to help you navigate which path you would like to go down. Life requires us to show up, sometimes lean in and sometimes resist, even when we’re too tired to. You are not alone, and I would be honored to share space together and be human together.
